Our founder Daniel Simon co-presented a session on a business architect’s journey to making an impact at the Business Architecture Innovation Summit (hosted by the Business Architecture Guild) in Reston, VA from 19 to 21 March 2024.
At the core of the session was the message that even a single business architect can make an impact in an organization and that it does not necessarily require a fully defined and established business architecture practice to do so. Accordingly, Daniel highlighted that making an impact ultimately comes down to the business architect’s top traits, such as thinking big picture and long-term, relentlessly challenging the status quo for the sake of helping the organization improve, having the ability to influence by telling stories, and bringing people together to facilitate collaboration and build consensus.
