Our founder Daniel Simon spoke about modeling language use in organizations at The Open Group Summit in Oslo from 27 to 30 April 2026.
In his session, Daniel shared insights into how organizations make use of ArchiMate and other modeling languages (BPMN, UML, EDGY) in practice, based on the results of our comprehensive survey conducted in 2025 (in collaboration with the University of Stuttgart). He highlighted the main purposes for which languages are used, the major challenges in making effective use of them, the top creators and consumers of representations in the various languages, the perceived effectiveness of their use, and more.
